A Development of Manual Vibration Therapy for Face Respiration

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop a manual vibration therapy (MVT) by relaxing muscles around the main acupuncture points related to facial skin respiration, and selecting 12 correlated courses in the following order. The first course started with a MVT for CV23, SI17 acupuncture points on the lower jaw line. And then in the following order, ST5 on the lower lip line, SI18, GB3 on the upper lip line, ST4, ST4J on the nasolabial fold skin, BL2 on the skin between eyebrows, GV21, TE22 on the forehead and temporal fascia, BL1, BL2 on the muscle orbicularis oculi, ST2, SI18, ST7 on the elasticity of the cheek part, GB3, ST7, ST6 on the cheekbone part, CV23, SI17 on the double jaw area, ST6, ST7, TE17 on the area of square jaw, CV22, LU1, GB21, HT1 acupuncture points spreaded on the forward head posture shoulder were manipulated in turn. The MVT developed here is an new manual esthetic technique to smoothen the stuffy skin respiration by vibrating the main acupoints distributed in the face. Therefore, this MVT seems a new useful and innovative therapy in natural face skin treatment.
